reflecting on my 5 months SIP, i realised what i've learnt a lot about the EQ, inter-people thing. i now fully, truely understand the meaning of 'don't judge a book by its cover'. again and again, i learn the meaning of this metaphor, but i just don't keep it in my head. i realised that one cannot just assume a person's character just by the outside. it's unfair that you don't give that person a chance to know the real him/her. i now know that when a person don't smile or joke, it doesn't mean that he/she is not a nice person. It could just that i caught the person at a bad time. Give them a chance and i'll eventually find out that they are actually really nice people.
this 5 months SIP also taught me endurance. as bad a person may act, all i have to do is grit my teeth and carry on, and i'll be a happier person. heh heh. i know however much i may dislike the person, i must be understanding and life will be much easier.
another thing, always smile. if the person doesn't respond, just continue smiling like a cuckoo. one day, he/she will smile back. that's another thing i've learnt.
p.s ah wei sian ar, why send me a chinese email when you know i'd probably have trouble reading it? but for your sake, i'm just gonna try
